Подскажите, что такое "records on visitations" и "parish announcement books"?

"Archival material kept by the three church archives is of great value as well. ... also important are records on visitations to individual parishes, diaries of priests, their official certificates, reports of parish offices about the sick, killed and missing soldiers, etc. Especially significant are birth, marriage and death registers, parish chronicles, and parish announcement books. Similarly to public archives, church archives also hold a number of small but very important collections, such as collections of photographs."

parish announcement books
А records on visitations to individual parishes кмк к приходским книгам не относятся.
